What does our We Adore Him phone number do?

Your We Adore Him site has a unique phone number with superpowers.

Adorers can find your We Adore Him phone number on the Help page of your website.

Your plan includes an allowance of text messages and phone call minutes each month. To check your month-to-date usage at any time, visit the Billing page.

Text Messages

Your We Adore Him phone number can send text messages from your site, such as commitment reminders, substitute request invitations, bulk message alerts, special alerts just for admins, etc.

It can also receive text messages from adorers, such as responses to the above notifications.

Here are more examples:

New adorers can text SIGNUP to receive a welcome message with a link to the sign up form to create their adorer account. Learn more.
Existing adorers can text LOGIN to receive a passwordless login link. Learn more.
Adorers can request a substitute for an upcoming commitment by texting the word SUB or SUBSTITUTE. Learn more.
When adorers receive an invitation to be a substitute, they can respond with YES to claim the substitute request or NO to decline it.
If your chapel requires a door code, adorers can send a text message of CODE or DOOR CODE to receive a message containing their door code. Learn more.
If your parish collects donations, adorers can text DONATE to receive a link that logs them in and opens the donation form. Learn more.
If an adorer sends a text message containing only their email address, it will automatically update their account and send them the welcome email. Learn more.
To easily add this phone number to your phone, request a vCard (an electronic business card) by texting VCARD, which makes it much easier to recognize this phone number later. Learn more.
To opt-out of receiving text messages, adorers may text the special STOP keyword. They can text START to opt-in. If adorers aren't receiving texts from your We Adore Him phone number, ask them to text the word START. They can also text HELP to read basic information about your adoration program, and HELLO for a simple validation that the site recognizes their phone number. Learn more.

Phone Calls

Your We Adore Him phone number can make outgoing phone calls from your site, such as commitment reminders, substitute request invitations, bulk message alerts, special alerts just for admins, etc. These are interactive, and your adorers can press buttons on their phone to respond to these automated calls or press 0 to transfer to an adoration coordinator.

It can also receive incoming phone calls from adorers. On these phone calls, adorers can:

Hear their upcoming adoration commitment.
Request a substitute.
Respond to a missed substitute invitation phone call.
Hear the last bulk message sent by an administrator.
Press 4 to hear their door code.
Press # to hear general information about your adoration program.
Press 0 to transfer to an adoration coordinator.

Blocking Phone Numbers

If you receive unwanted text messages from unknown phone numbers, you can block them from the Admin » Text Messages page. Once blocked, incoming messages from that number are silently ignored. Learn more.
