Greetings, adoration coordinators!
It’s been a while since the last We Adore Him product update announcement. Though we’ve been quiet, we’ve been very busy!
There are many new features available that we haven't announced, and you’ll be receiving more frequent updates to let you know about new ways you can use We Adore Him to help others visit Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
To this end, we have a new Marketing Director who will help put this information in your hands. That’s me! My name is Heather Stein, and I happen to be married to Joel, the brains of the operation. ❤️
I’ve been helping to edit and proofread the Help Center support articles for over a year, and he recently asked me to take on the role of posting periodic updates.
So, here's the first one! We have one big new feature for you and several smaller updates. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for even more exciting announcements.
Chapel Check OUT
You can now configure your Adoration Check-in Kiosk to allow adorers to not only check in, but also to check out! With this feature enabled, adorers simply tap their name again when they leave the chapel. Learn more.
Other Updates
- When the Adoration Check-in Kiosk goes offline, we show a generic message to adorers, but you can customize this message to include instructions specific to your chapel. Learn more.
- When an adorer forgets their password, it's easier than ever to get them logged back in. They can receive a special password reset code via email, text message, or phone call. Learn more.
- The Substitute Finder was optimized to first send invitations to adorers who don’t have an outstanding (unanswered) substitute invitation so that they are less likely to be overwhelmed with another invitation before they’ve had a chance to respond. Learn more.
- Are some of your adoration hours only open once per month (e.g. First Fridays)? Use the monthly frequency option when customizing an hour's general availability. Or, bulk edit the hours and choose the option "Once per month". Learn more.
- The Website URL setting adds a "Visit our website" link at the bottom of your We Adore Him site. Find it at Admin » Settings » Account.
- You can set the default notification method for new adorers; for example, if you want to change it from "text message" (our recommended option) to "email". Find this setting at Admin » Settings » Onboarding.
- Ever need to fine-tune a filtered list of adorers for a bulk message? Use the handy checkboxes next to each adorer's name to select a curated list of adorers.
