When adorers sign up for an adorer account, their registrations are automatically activated, and they can log in to your We Adore Him website.
If you want to vet adorers before granting them access to create adoration commitments, claim substitute requests, view other adorers' info—or if you notice an increase in spam registrations—consider using the Activation Code feature.
Enable this feature with the Enable approval workflow and Activation code fields at Admin » Settings » Onboarding.
When the activation code is enabled, it is included in the Signup URL at Admin » Settings » Onboarding.
- Share this Signup URL with trusted adorers. The activation code field will auto-populate on the signup form.
- Share the Signup URL without the activation code with the general public, such as on your website, social media, etc.
The adorer signup form will include an Activation code field when this feature is enabled.
If an adorer leaves this field empty when signing up, their account's status is "Blocked." Admins and captains are notified of this event if they have enabled the New adorer registration needs approval admin notification.
After an administrator or captain activates the blocked adorer's account, their status is changed to "Active," and the welcome email is sent to the adorer.
Anyone who enters the correct activation code during onboarding will bypass administrator approval.
