Rotate a Shared Commitment Through Your Group

In We Adore Him, a group of adorers can share a single commitment: a family, a ministry, or a circle of friends who cover one hour a week between them. Many of those groups take turns. This week it's Mary, next week John, then Rose, and back around. Now We Adore Him can keep track of whose turn it is.

Mark a group as a rotation group and arrange its members in the order they take their turns. Every upcoming date is assigned to a member, in turn, as far out as your schedule goes.

  • Everyone can see whose week it is. The assigned adorer's name appears next to each upcoming date on the group's page, on every member's dashboard, and on the Calendar page.
  • Only the assigned person is reminded. The commitment reminder goes to the adorer whose turn it is, rather than to the whole group.
  • Substitute requests start with the group. When the assigned adorer requests a substitute, the other members are invited before the rest of your eligible substitutes.
  • Check-in works as usual. The Adoration Check-In Kiosk lists the assigned adorer by name for their date, just like any other committed adorer.

Toggle the Is a rotation group field on the group form at Admin » Groups. Then open the group and drag its members into order in the Group Rotation card.
