Adorers No Longer Need a Password

Adorers log in to We Adore Him to make commitments and request substitutes. They can now log in without a password.

Three New Buttons on the Login Form

The login form looks the same as before, but has three new buttons:

  • Text me a code
  • Email me a code
  • Call me with a code

An adorer enters their name, email address, or phone number, taps a button, and a one-time code is sent to them, including a real phone call that reads the code aloud for adorers who don't use text or email.

The email and text message carry a link, too. One tap and the adorer is logged in, with nothing to type at all.

No More Password Prompts

  • Signing up is faster. The registration form no longer asks a new adorer to create a password.
  • Welcome messages just work. The link in the welcome email or text message now logs an adorer straight in, rather than stopping to ask them to choose a password.
  • Goodbye, Forgot Password. The Forgot Password page is gone. There is nothing to reset when a password is not required anymore. They can simply log in with the one-time code (see above).

Adorers who like logging in with a password can still do so. The login form still accepts a password, and adorers can set or change their password by selecting Edit My Account on their dashboard.
