Our previous product update was sent several months ago, so we're playing a little "catch up." There's so much to share with you...

We made some administrative changes over the holidays, which caused blogging delays, but we're back and full of adorable emojis.
And we wish to personally assure you that we have been working quietly, dare I say it, feverishly on bug fixes and new features. Several of these changes are mentioned below, and in the coming weeks, we'll post more updates to announce all of the new features. Stay tuned!
Coronavirus 🤒
We recommend placing hand sanitizer next to your Adoration Check-in Kiosk so that adorers can clean their hands after tapping on the screen to check in. You might also keep "screen cleaning wipes" nearby to periodically wipe the screen down. (We're not experts on this stuff, but these policies can't hurt.)
Also, count on our prayers during this time of uncertainty. This prayer of St. Teresa of Avila is particularly comforting:
Let nothing disturb you,
let nothing frighten you,
all things will pass away.
God never changes;
patience obtains all things,
whoever has God lacks nothing.
God alone suffices. Amen.
New Help Center 📚
We now have a Help Center! There are articles to answer your most commonly asked questions and more. Learn all of the "ins and outs" of your favorite adoration software!
And now... the good stuff 🛠️
There is a new setting to enable or disable the Directory page for regular adorers. Learn more. 📖
You can now add multiple email addresses to your "Site email" setting (Admin » Settings » Account). When an adorer responds to an email sent by your We Adore Him website, it will be addressed to all of the email addresses that you entered. 📧📧
Admins and captains who enable the "Notification failed" admin notification are now notified when an email bounces so that you can correct the email address. You may have received a lot of these notifications for a few days last month—sorry about that! We worked out the bugs, and now it's working very well. 🏎️
When an admin or captain creates a commitment on behalf of an adorer, the "Enable reminder" checkbox is unchecked by default, which helps ensure that a notification is sent at the best time (if at all). ✅
Long popup forms are no longer accidentally closed when you press the escape key or click outside of the form, which will save many keystrokes on the Create New Account, Edit My Account, and Send Bulk Message forms. 🤦♂️
Your browser will now automatically remember your sort order on the admin pages with big ol' tables. ↕️
The "Send Bulk Message" form no longer sends messages to blocked adorers, even if they are in the list of filtered adorers. 🚫
Logged-out users can now switch their language to "Español" with the click of a button. This makes it much easier for new Spanish-speaking visitors to sign up. Learn more. 🔄
When an adorer responds to a text message from your We Adore Him phone number, we changed the automatic response to highlight that it's not sent by a human: "Sorry, we did not understand your message. This is an automated phone number." 🤖
When an adorer makes an adoration commitment with dates that intersect with an outstanding substitute request (did you get all of that?), that substitute request is automatically claimed. Tada! 💃
We slightly increased the font size on the Adoration Check-in Kiosk to make it easier to read for folks with vision difficulties. 👀
There is a new setting called "Autocomplete names on guest check-ins" (Admin » Settings » Attendance). Enable this to make it easier for guest visits to be assigned to the corresponding adorer. Then, test it out at kiosk.weadorehim.com. Also, you may want to review all of the privacy-related settings.
