In We Adore Him, most substitute requests are claimed by adorers, but an administrator or captain can also assign a substitute directly.
You can now tell the two outcomes apart at a glance. At Admin » Substitute Requests, a substitute request that an administrator or captain assigned is labeled Assigned, while one an adorer claimed is labeled Claimed. To see only assigned substitute requests, choose Assigned in the Status filter.
