Administrators can configure the following adorer fields to be optional or required at Admin » Settings » Onboarding:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Mailing address
- Parish
- Gender
When adorers sign up or edit their account settings, they must complete all required fields.
Why is this helpful? Because it ensures that you have the necessary information to contact adorers and manage the adoration program.
However, until today, required fields were also enforced for administrators and captains. This created a cumbersome obstacle when saving an adorer account with incomplete information.
Now, administrators and captains can simply leave required fields empty when creating or editing an adorer account.
You'll see "optional" next to the above fields even if they are required.
Don't worry—your adorers will still need to complete all required fields. Log out and click the Sign Up button to test this.
