A new documentary called Adore Him: He Is Here is in theaters this week, October 4 through 8 (watch the trailer here). A few of you have asked whether it's ours. It isn't! We have no connection to the film or to the Adore Movement it promotes, but we share the same hope, that more people would come to know Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
So I went to see it with my wife and children, and I'm glad we did.
I found it moving, and a powerful reminder of the beautiful gift that is Eucharistic Adoration. I've devoted my full-time work to this ministry since 2017, and the film was encouraging and edifying for me personally. There were a few moments that made all of our eyes tear up a little.
I was also pleased to see an interview with Andrew Niewald of the Adoratio Foundation. I highly recommend their work establishing and growing Eucharistic Adoration programs at parishes, and they've long been listed among the resources we point coordinators to.
If you can still catch a showing, go. It comes from the executive producer of Jesus Thirsts, which we recommended a couple of years ago, and like that film it makes a wonderful parish outing. Consider sending a bulk message to your adorers to let them know about it.
Count on our continued prayers, and please keep our team in yours. 🙏
