How do we receive donations?

Adorers can make a regular monthly donation to your adoration program directly through We Adore Him. Many parishes cover the entire cost of We Adore Him this way, and donations can also pay for chapel expenses, such as devotionals, rosaries, a new kneeler, or sacred art.

Donations go to your parish's own Stripe account. Stripe charges a processing fee on each donation, and offers a discount to eligible nonprofits.

To get started, see Setting Up Donations. Once adorers are giving, the Donations Report shows who donates and how much.

Donate From the Dashboard

Once donations are set up, each adorer's dashboard invites them to give. They enter a monthly amount, click Donate, and enter their payment details on Stripe's secure checkout page. Afterwards, their dashboard shows the date and amount of their next donation, and they can click Change donation amount or Cancel my donation anytime.

Donate by Text Message

Adorers can also text DONATE to your adoration phone number and receive a link that logs them in and opens the donation form.

Donate QR Code

Direct adorers to contribute financially to the adoration program with the Donate QR Code found at Admin » Settings » QR Codes. Many parishes include this on a paper sheet near their Adoration Check-In Kiosk.

One-Time Donations

Donations are monthly, so there is no separate one-time option. An adorer who wants to give once can make a monthly donation and then cancel it right away on their dashboard. Their first donation is kept, and nothing more is charged.

Canceling a Donation

When an adorer asks you to cancel their donation for them, open their dashboard and click Cancel donation. Administrators and captains can do this on behalf of adorers. Deleting an adorer's account also cancels their donation.
