3 Product Updates

We're absolutely thrilled to announce that We Adore Him is now serving over 10,000 adorers, and its 1-year birthday is coming up on August 1st.

Thank you to all of our incredible customers for placing your faith in us and using this beautiful software that we have created with great love.

In this post, we're going to let you know about some updates that we have recently released for We Adore Him, to make it even better.

All of the updates we mention here are the result of recommendations you have given us.... so, thank you!

1. When you change the availability of an hour on the schedule, you can now easily notify adorers affected by the change:

If an administrator clicks on the blue "Edit Schedule" button on the Schedule page, then clicks on an hour, then disables adoration for that hour, the administrator will be given an option to notify the affected adorers:

After you click the green "Notify Adorers" button, you will be taken to your Adorers page, with the adorers filtered to show only those adorers. Proceed to click "Send Bulk Message" to notify those adorers.

2. You can now optionally remove the requirement to specify gender for adorer accounts:

This is helpful for chapels that are importing large numbers of adorers and don't know the gender for all of their adorers, especially names that could lend themselves male or female (such as "Alex"). It's also helpful for chapels that sign up couples under one adorer account (e.g., "John and Jane Doe");

At Admin » Settings » Onboarding, you can uncheck "Require adorers to provide their gender."

If unchecked, then a third option appears as "Unspecified":

3. Filter commitments on the Schedule page by commitment frequency:

Administrators and captains now filter the schedule to only show commitments of a particular type of frequency: daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

That's all for now... Please have a wonderful week. 🙂
