How do I choose which languages appear in the language switcher?

We Adore Him supports several languages. As an administrator, you can choose which of these languages appear in the language switcher on your website and kiosk.

Customize which languages appear in the language switcher with the Languages field at Admin » Settings » Account.

For example, if your parish primarily serves English and Spanish speakers, you might enable just those two languages.

How It Affects the Language Switcher

The language switcher adapts based on how many languages you enable:

  • One language: The language switcher is hidden entirely.
  • 2-3 languages: Toggle buttons appear for each language.
  • 4+ languages: A compact dropdown menu with a globe icon appears.

Phone Call Language Prompts

When adorers call your automated phone number, they hear a prompt to select their preferred language. This prompt only includes enabled languages.

Adorers Can Still Choose Any Language

The enabled languages setting only affects the language switcher. Adorers can select any language from their profile, regardless of which languages are enabled. This ensures that all adorers can use We Adore Him in their preferred language.
