Closing Adoration for the Easter Triduum

The Easter Triduum — from Holy Thursday evening through Easter Sunday — is the most sacred time in the liturgical year. Church norms require that perpetual exposition of the Blessed Sacrament not take place during this period. For adoration coordinators, that means closing your chapel's hours each year — and We Adore Him now makes it easy.

A New Easter Triduum Button

Starting on the Monday before Holy Week, an Easter Triduum button appears on the Calendar page for administrators. Click it to open a form with prepopulated dates — Holy Thursday evening through Easter Sunday — and a title field. Everything is adjustable to match your parish's schedule.

When you submit the form, We Adore Him closes every adoration hour in the date range, automatically cancels any open substitute requests for those hours, and shows you a list of affected adorers so you can message them about the closure.

An Email Reminder

To make sure it doesn't sneak up on you, We Adore Him sends administrators an email reminder on the Monday before Holy Week.
