        At <em>We Adore Him</em>, our mission has always been to help your
        parish thrive by removing the administrative headaches of scheduling,
        giving your community more time to focus on what truly matters: prayer
        and devotion.
    </p>

    <p>
        We've seen firsthand how moving your adoration chapel schedule online
        brings peace of mind to both coordinators and adorers.
    </p>

    <p>
        But we also know the main parish office still handles plenty of other complex,
        paper-heavy tasks.
    </p>

    <p>
        One of the most time-consuming? Managing the Mass Intention book.
        Between sticky notes, paper binders, manual calendar tracking, and
        handling cash or check offerings, keeping track of Mass intentions can
        eat up hours of the parish office's week.
    </p>

    <p>
        That is why we are thrilled to introduce
        <a href="https://www.massrequest.com/">MassRequest.com</a>—a
        brand-new, modern software solution designed from the ground up to help
        Catholic parishes easily receive, schedule, and manage Mass intentions
        online.

    <h2>Zero Cost to Your Parish</h2>

    <p>
        We built <a href="https://www.massrequest.com/">MassRequest.com</a> to be accessible to every Catholic community. The software is completely
        free for parishes to use. There are no setup fees, no monthly
        subscriptions, and no hidden contracts. Your parish budget remains
        completely untouched while your office gets a massive upgrade.
    </p>

    <h2>Software That Respects Canon Law</h2>

    <p>
        We know how vital it is for parish software to align with Church
        governance. <a href="https://www.massrequest.com/">MassRequest.com</a> was built with a deep understanding of Catholic parish life, ensuring
        the platform respects and adheres to Canon Law regarding Mass offerings,
        scheduling stipulations, and fulfillment tracking.

        <em>
            The following is a guest post from <strong>Fr. Brian Beal</strong>,
            a priest of the Diocese of Columbus and a tireless advocate for the
            Real Presence.
        </em>
    </p>

    <hr>

    <p>
        Through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the
        Congregation for the Clergy, on December 8th, 2007, offered powerful
        recommendations to Bishops throughout the world to grow Jesus'
        Eucharistic kingdom. The encouragement given was based on Pope Benedict
        XVI's Apostolic Exhortation
        <em>Sacramentum Caritatis</em>.
    </p>

    <p>
        The following is a summary of the Congregation's proposed plan of
        action:
    </p>

    <ol>
        <li>
            That every diocese appoint a priest to devote his full-time work to
            bolstering belief in the Real Presence and growing love of Jesus
            through Eucharistic adoration.
        </li>
        <li>
            That perpetual Eucharistic adoration be established, especially in
            densely populated areas at churches and oratories. These locations
            would be designated <strong>"Eucharistic Shrines"</strong> where an
            appointed priest could reside as rector.
        </li>
        <li>
            That special emphasis be placed on catechizing the youth—notably
            those preparing for First Holy Communion—on the value and beauty of
            spending time with Jesus in Eucharistic adoration.
        </li>
    </ol>

    <p>
        Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament influenced these ideas, which
        were issued on the great Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. She
        longs for the pure love of her heart for her Son to be extended through
        the hearts of all her children when receiving Holy Communion and adoring
        the Lord.
    </p>

    <p>
        Here is how we can all help. Please join Mary in praying and offering
        sacrifice for the actualization of the Congregation's directives.
    </p>

    <ul>
        <li>
            Prayerfully imagine if every diocese enjoyed having a holy, humble
            priest working full-time to grow love for the Sacrament of Love.
        </li>
        <li>
            Ponder the power of more perpetual adoration chapels opening in
            parishes around the world.
        </li>
        <li>
            Dream of how glorious it would be for First Holy Communicants to
            better know and love spending time with Jesus, who is really, truly,
            and substantially present in the Eucharist.
        </li>
    </ul>

    <p>
        Catholics worldwide are called to pray and offer up sacrifices,
        united to the Immaculate Heart, so that this incredible desire of heaven
        may come to pass more speedily. When you receive Holy Communion or renew
        your daily Marian Consecration, remember how you are called to pray and
        offer up sacrifices for this very intention.
    </p>

    <p>
        To read the Congregation's recommendations in full, please visit the
        <a href="https://www.usccb.org/beliefs-and-teachings/vocations/vocation-directors/promotion-of-continuous-eucharistic-adoration-in-diocese-for-the-benefit-of-priests">USCCB website</a>.
    </p>

    <p>
        May Our Lady, Mother of the Eucharist, obtain for each of us a deeper
        love of her Son in this most holy Sacrament. 🙏
    </p>

    <hr>

    <p>

        The Easter Triduum — from Holy Thursday evening through Easter
        Sunday — is the most sacred time in the liturgical year. Church
        norms require that perpetual exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
        not take place during this period. For adoration coordinators,
        that means closing your chapel's hours each year — and
        <em>We Adore Him</em> now makes it easy.
    </p>

    <h2>A New Easter Triduum Button</h2>

    <p>
        Starting on the Monday before Holy Week, an
        <span>Easter Triduum</span> button appears on the
        <span>Calendar</span> page for administrators. Click it
        to open a form with prepopulated dates — Holy Thursday evening
        through Easter Sunday — and a title field. Everything is
        adjustable to match your parish's schedule.
    </p>

    <p>
        When you submit the form, <em>We Adore Him</em> closes every
        adoration hour in the date range, automatically cancels any open
        substitute requests for those hours, and shows you a list of
        affected adorers so you can message them about the closure.
    </p>

    <h2>An Email Reminder</h2>

    <p>
        To make sure it doesn't sneak up on you, <em>We Adore Him</em>
        sends administrators an email reminder on the Monday before Holy
        Week.

        — on the <span>Schedule</span> page, the <span>Calendar</span> page,
        and more. Until now, the week always started on Sunday, which is the
        convention in the United States and a few other countries.
    </p>

    <p>
        But most of the world starts the week on Monday — including Europe,
        Australia, most of Asia, South America, and Africa. For chapels in these
        regions, a Sunday-start schedule didn't quite match expectations.
    </p>

    <p>
        Now, <em>We Adore Him</em> automatically displays the week starting on
        the correct day based on your chapel's country. If your chapel is in a

        Important note for chapels in time zones that observe

    <p>
        This Sunday, clocks <em>spring forward</em> from 1:59:59
        AM to 3:00:00 AM.
    </p>

    <p>
        Thus,
        <strong>the 2:00 AM hour "doesn't exist"</strong> (or so
        they say). 🕑 🤔
    </p>

    <p>
        The 2:00 AM hour still appears on your adoration schedule,
        but nobody can sign up for it.

            We recommend you notify the Sunday 2:00 AM adorers to
            NOT show up for adoration.
        </strong>
    </p>

    <p>
        Or, don't notify them, and you'll have more adorers at the
        3:00 AM hour. 🙏 🙏
    </p>

    <p>
    To message the Sunday 2:00 AM adorers, visit
        <span>Admin » Commitments</span> and set the
        <span>Day</span> filter to Sunday and the
        <span>Time</span> filter to 2:00 AM. Then,
        click <span>Message Adorers</span> at the top of the
        page.
</p>

    <p>
        You should also
        <strong>notify <em>all</em> Sunday adorers</strong> to set
        their clocks forward an hour because they'll need to go to
        adoration an hour earlier that day.
    </p>

    <p>
    To message the Sunday adorers, visit
        <span>Admin » Commitments</span> and set the
        <span>Day</span> filter to Sunday. Then, click
        <span>Message Adorers</span> at the top of the page.

        <em>We Adore Him</em> gives each chapel its own
        <a href="https://weadorehim.com/articles/phone-number">dedicated phone number</a> that adorers can use to interact with the system by text
        message. One popular feature is the ability to request a
        substitute by texting the word SUB. Until now,
        though, adorers could only request a substitute for one
        date at a time.
    </p>

    <p>
        Now, adorers can request substitutes for multiple dates in
        a single text message conversation. After texting
        SUB, the system responds with their upcoming
        commitment dates. If they need a substitute for more than
        one date, they reply MORE. Then they simply
        enter the dates they need covered—like
        1 and 2, 1, 2, 3, or
        1-3—and the system creates a substitute request
        for each one.
    </p>

    <p>
        No more repeating the process over and over for each date! 🎉

        Previously, we introduced the
        <a href="https://weadorehim.com/blog/easily-share-which-hours-need-adorers">Needs button</a> on the <span>Schedule</span> page, making it easy
        to see and share which hours need adorers. That view shows
        the most urgent needs—hours with no adorer signed up at
        all.
    </p>

    <p>
        But what if an hour requires two or more adorers, and only
        one is committed? The urgent needs view wouldn't flag it,
        since someone is already signed up.
    </p>

    <p>
        That's where the new
        <span>Weekly Schedule: Full Coverage</span> option comes
        in. It shows <strong>every</strong> recurring commitment
        needed to fully satisfy the minimum coverage for each open
        hour—not just the hours with zero adorers.
    </p>

        <figcaption>
        The new Full Coverage view in the Needs dialog
    </figcaption>
</figure>

    <p>
        For example, if an hour requires a minimum of two adorers
        and only one is committed, the full coverage view will
        list the additional commitment still needed. This gives
        you the complete picture when recruiting adorers.
    </p>

    <p>
        To use it, click <span>Needs</span> on the Schedule page
        and select <span>Weekly Schedule: Full Coverage</span>.
        Then copy and paste the list into your parish bulletin,
        email, or text message—just like before!
    </p>

    <p>
        We hope this helps you fill your schedule and keep your
        chapel fully covered. 🙏

        Your chapel's
        <a href="https://weadorehim.com/articles/email-address"><em>We Adore Him</em> email address</a> sends incoming emails to your forwarding email address. But sometimes,
        unwanted or suspicious emails slip through from addresses that don't
        belong to any of your adorers.
    </p>

    <p>
        Several coordinators asked for a way to stop these emails, and today
        we're happy to introduce <strong>email address blocking</strong>. 🛡️
    </p>

    <p>
        You can now block specific email addresses from the
        <span>Admin » Emails</span> page. The easiest way to find suspicious
        senders is to filter the list to show <span>Adorer</span> = Unknown,
        which displays emails from addresses that don't match any adorer in your
        system. From there, simply click the <span>Block</span> button next to
        any address you'd like to block.
    </p>

            <a href="https://weadorehim.com/build/assets/2026-02-25-block-spam-email-address-BUFVoZGR.png">

        </a>
        <figcaption>
        Filter by Adorer = Unknown to find and block suspicious email addresses
    </figcaption>
</figure>

    <p>
        Once an email address is blocked, all future incoming emails from that
        address will be silently ignored — they won't be forwarded to your
        forwarding email address.
    </p>

    <p>
        If you ever block an email address by mistake, you can unblock it from the
        same page.
    </p>

    <p>
        If you've used <a href="https://weadorehim.com/blog/block-spam-text-messages">phone number blocking</a> before, this works the same way — now you have full control over both
        email and phone communications. We hope this gives you peace of mind and
        keeps your inbox clean! 💪
