At We Adore Him, our mission has always been to help your
parish thrive by removing the administrative headaches of scheduling,
giving your community more time to focus on what truly matters: prayer
        and devotion.

We've seen firsthand how moving your adoration chapel schedule online
brings peace of mind to both coordinators and adorers.

But we also know the main parish office still handles plenty of other complex,
        paper-heavy tasks.

One of the most time-consuming? Managing the Mass Intention book.
Between sticky notes, paper binders, manual calendar tracking, and
handling cash or check offerings, keeping track of Mass intentions can
eat up hours of the parish office's week.

That is why we are thrilled to introduce
        MassRequest.com—a
brand-new, modern software solution designed from the ground up to help
Catholic parishes easily receive, schedule, and manage Mass intentions
        online.

Zero Cost to Your Parish

We built MassRequest.com to be accessible to every Catholic community. The software is completely
free for parishes to use. There are no setup fees, no monthly
subscriptions, and no hidden contracts. Your parish budget remains
completely untouched while your office gets a massive upgrade.

Software That Respects Canon Law

We know how vital it is for parish software to align with Church
governance. MassRequest.com was built with a deep understanding of Catholic parish life, ensuring
the platform respects and adheres to Canon Law regarding Mass offerings,
        scheduling stipulations, and fulfillment tracking.

The banner appears only to signed-in adorers who haven't committed to an

        simple ways to get involved:

Make a commitment by clicking an open hour on the

As soon as an adorer does one of these things, the banner disappears.

It's a small touch with a real purpose: turning more of your sign-ups
into adorers who show up before the Blessed Sacrament. 🙏

Every chapel website in We Adore Him includes a
Help page for adorers, the place they land when they
have a question about signing up, changing an hour, or finding a
substitute. We've given it a fresh redesign: a concise, mobile-friendly
FAQ that gets adorers to the answer they need in seconds, in their own
        language.

The adorer Help page is different from our
        Help Center. The Help page
lives on your chapel website for your adorers, while our Help Center is
the documentation written for administrators and hourly captains.

The answers are grouped into the four things adorers do most:

            Adorer Account - logging in,
            signing up,
            resetting a password,
            updating
            contact info and notification preferences,
and who can see their information.

            Adoration Commitments -
            signing up for an hour,
            changing or canceling a commitment,
            and reminders before their hour.

            Substitute Requests -
requesting a substitute and becoming one.

            Attendance - how to
            check in at the
            chapel.

The new FAQ covers how to use the website, but your chapel may have its
own policies and questions to share. Anything you put in your
Sitewide Message also appears on the Help page, so it's a great spot for things like
        adoration protocols.

Adorers can reach the new page anytime from the Help link on your chapel website. We hope it makes the first steps a little
easier for everyone you serve. 📖

When an adorer makes an adoration commitment in We Adore Him,
        they can receive a
reminder notification before their hour by email, text message, or phone call. Until now it
defaulted to three hours before (though adorers could change it).
Now you can set a different default for your chapel.

Two New Settings

On the Admin » Settings » Commitments page, you'll
find two new options for how far in advance reminders are sent:

Default reminder lead time for new commitments - The
default for regular commitments, replacing the previous fixed three
            hours before.

Default reminder lead time for substitute commitments -
A separate default for the one-time commitments created when someone
            claims a substitute request.

For example, a parish can remind adorers a full day ahead of their
regular hour, giving them plenty of time to
request a substitute if something comes up, while still sending substitute reminders just a
        few hours before.

Smart Overnight Timing

Nobody wants a reminder in the middle of the night. If your chosen lead
time would land during overnight hours, We Adore Him automatically
shifts the reminder earlier, into the daytime of the evening before.
For instance, a 6 AM commitment with a one-day lead time will be
reminded at 8 PM two evenings prior, rather than at 6 AM the day before.
        Learn more about
        how this works.

Updating Existing Commitments

Your new default applies going forward, but you can apply it to existing
commitments too. On the Admin » Commitments page,
select the commitments to update, then choose
Set reminder lead time from the bulk edit options. The
overnight timing is applied automatically to each one.

Adorers Still Have the Final Say

Your default is just a starting point. Adorers can still pick their own
timing for any commitment, now up to 48 hours before, which takes
        precedence over the site default.

The Adoration Check-In Kiosk lets your adorers check in and out on a tablet in the chapel. We watch
the kiosk's connection and notify administrators and captains if it ever
        goes offline.

Until now, opening the kiosk on a second device to troubleshoot could
interfere with that monitoring. The system would treat the new device as
the active kiosk, so the last update time and offline alerts followed
whichever device pinged most recently. Coordinators trying to confirm
what was showing on the chapel iPad sometimes set off false offline
        alerts in the process.

Today we're adding a test mode for the kiosk. Add

?testing=1
to the kiosk address, like
        kiosk.weadorehim.com/?testing=1,
and that device runs the full kiosk while keeping the last update time
and offline notifications tied to your main kiosk.

Now you can open the kiosk from another device or location, see what
adorers see, and troubleshoot with confidence, all without disturbing
the live kiosk in the chapel.
