Email Sent by Error About One-Time Commitments Being Deleted

On Friday, we added some better handling of how admin notifications are sent out by email. One of the unintended consequences of that improvement was the introduction of a little bug 🐞 that was discovered and then fixed on Saturday afternoon.

What was the bug?

If a one-time commitment (for example, a substitution request) came to pass, then at that exact time that it occurred, it was deleted from the system and transformed into a "visit." That's supposed to happen. What was not supposed to happen was for an email to be sent out to administrators and captains telling them that the commitment was deleted.

Here's what the content of the email would have looked like:

FYI, John Doe deleted their adoration commitment for Today at 9pm.

So, if you received an email between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon about a substitute commitment being deleted, then just ignore that email. It's bogus and all our fault.

Nostra culpa, nostra culpa, nostra maxima culpa.
