the objectives of our leadership classes are to create a defined path leading to spiritual, purposeful, and cognitive growth in the life of a Christian leader desiring to make more and better disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Steve and the Elders share a vision of identifying traits and competencies in each congregant that would contribute to a more fruitful outcome in the development of that person as a leader.  The objective is to establish a systematic approach to training leaders, which would ultimately produce more pastors, mentors, home group leaders and ministry leaders, effectively ministering toward the vision of Metro Calvary Chapel.

These leadership classes assume that the student successfully completed the Basic Growth classes. It further assumes a hunger to study and grow in your walk with the Lord. Therefore, Metro Calvary Chapel offers various Advanced Classes throughout the year to support your journey.

We belief the measurement for effective ministry training is much more than mere competencies.  Ministry effectiveness comes from a lifelong process of abiding and growing in Christ, and ministering according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and a guiding set of Biblical values.
